Something Borrowed

I was looking fwd to this movie ever since I heard that they were making one from Emily Giffin's first book. I'm such a fan of her books, but this movie was a bit of a let down. John Krasinksi is the best thing abt this movie. He was great - his comedic timing is just perfect. I loved him in The office, he was great in It's Complicated, and he was just awesome in Something Borrowed. I pictured Ethan just like that. Dex was hot, but a little lame-o and his character in the book showed a lot of anguish. The girls were alright and the faulty friendship was shown accurately, but some of the so over the top obvious scenes between the girls made me cringe. Marcus wasn't that much of a clown in the book but in the movie, he came across ridiculously. Eh, I know I'll watch the next movie they make - Something Blue. That's the cross us readers carry cuz we just have to watch the movie to see how it is. lol
