I bought my first real pearl necklace today and earrings to match. Apparently Cartier purchased their store on Fifth Ave using a double strand of natural pearls!
It is a gift to moi to show my love and appreciation to myself. I've had some hiccups in life and I've dealt with them with class and dignity. I'm proud of the hurdles I've crossed and the person I am today because of them. I'm not perfect and most probably never will be, but I strive to be the best I can be.
I also bought these as faith symbol that one day I will def be passing them along to my offspring.

Yes, def is beautiful! It was fun to do the research before buying - Mikimoto has a patent on how to create hemispherical cultured pearls. Good gift idea for the wife, Rog! :)
