Today on the train, Rihanna's Unfaithful song showed up in my shuffle queue. And while I was listening to it, all of a sudden I had images of Twilight pop up in my head - vividly.
I sat there wondering whyyyy and then it came to me. I had read twilight a year ago on the train commute. I was hooked onto Unfaithful and played it nonstop around the same time. I hadn't thought about twilight or Unfaithful, but listening to the song automatically put flashing of twilight into my brain.
It was the most bizarrest mind traveling I have experienced. The twilight thoughts were there and I just couldn't understand why b/c I hadn't consciously or directly thought of it. I never even put the two together. I can understand listening to a song and thinking of a person or a specific time in your life (college, HS) or experience (concert, party, etc). This was just a book with no established link to the song. The wonders of the mind or classical conditioning? lol
