I don't know if it was b/c I know the 2nd part is coming up in July that I wasn't able to fully appreciate this movie as I should have. It felt like a stepping stone. :) Something to see and get thru before the real movie...
The movie was beautiful and enjoyable. The kids look older and their emotions match their look. It was def believable tho I missed Hermione's spunk. She seemed weepy for most of the movie. The humor in the movie could have been better....and Dobby was as delightful as he is in the book. Sooo sad for Dobby - I'm glad his character was done well in the movie...I thought the animated Hallows Story was great told at Luna's house. Very cute.
I'm not sure how they will tell the story of how the wand's owner was Draco and then Harry even tho the wand lies with Dumbledore...Interesting to see how that unfolds.
I'll add more to this post as I think of more things, but that's it for now.
Love Harry Potter and will miss it all! I'm already waiting for JULY!

I thought it was well done also. Now that I've seen this one, I am glad they took the time to split it into two movies. We were able to see so much more subtext and relationships (ie. Harry dancing with Hermione was very tender and told much about their friendship).
And yes, the Deathly Hallows animation was one of my favorite parts of the movie. :)
