A friend of mine read all four in a few weeks span when her boyfriend was away and had good things to say and confirmed it wasn't scary. I finally decided to buy the first book. I am hooked. I will say it doesn't compare to Harry Potter (not that I'm comparing totally different books), but it is still very entertaining. I have not finished the first book, yet, so I can't fully comment. I found myself reading the book with my heart jittery just b/c there's vampire content. lol I don't think I'll be able to get past that..hehee, but I'm trying.
I saw a girl around my age this morning on my way to work standing n waiting for the train while reading -- a twilight book. lol I found myself jealous b/c I wanted to read mine (it was in my bag), but I can't be on the go and read. Ain't talented. ;)
I'll watch the movie once I'm done with the first book.

hmm, I don't think I can bring myself to read Twilight. I don't care for the vampire genre and I don't give a rat's a$$ about teen angst.
I said the same initially abt the vampires. It does have an interesting take on them, however.
